How Med Fest Got Started
How the Festival started
Once upon a time, there was a local festival call Fantasia. A gentleman George Mosley put it on every year for 11 years; everyone loved it. We were all very disappointed when he decided to bring a halt to Fantasia Festival. Where would we dance, what would we do? It was the event of the year, the first belly dance festival in Washington.

This astounding event happens only once a year. Be ready your chance is coming:
Be amazed by the Sword Balancers. Even if the swords aren’t sharp, they’re really shiny.
Be French fried by the Fire Dancers. Armed only with candles, they fiercely battle wind and wax.

Med Fest Program
The Babylonian Ensemble puts together a program with the schedule of performers for the weekend and vendor information. The program will be available at The Festival.
There will be a Flyer table will be in the gym for 2010.
No flyers on cars, outside on tables or handed out.
Please help limit litter and clean up by following park rules.
